This website is run by Country Dogs Grooming & Pet Boutique ("Country Dogs", "we") at 360 High Street, Clinton, Massachusetts. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it.
What you send us
When you use the appointment request form, we receive what you type: your name, phone number and email address; your dog's name, breed and weight; your veterinarian's name and phone number; the service and times you're interested in; any notes; and your two confirmations (rabies vaccination and accurate information). The form is delivered to us by email. We use it only to get back to you and to schedule and provide grooming, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone outside the business.
Keeping spam out
To stop automated spam, the form checks how long the page was open before sending and counts how many requests arrive from the same internet address. For that count we keep only a scrambled version of the address, and only for about an hour. We may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that confirms a real person is using the form; Cloudflare handles that check under its own privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We may use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (pages viewed, buttons tapped, roughly where visitors are from), and Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure whether our ads led to a call, a text or an appointment request. These tools set cookies and may collect your IP address and device information, which those companies handle under their own privacy policies. We don't see who you are from this data.
You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com, block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and manage Meta's ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account under Ad preferences. Your browser's settings can also block or delete cookies.
